Snatch Preschool Game "The Game Of Who Took It"
The snatch preschool game is a game that allows children to be sneaky but has more than one winner.
Learning to memorize items in a collection can be lots of fun, especially if individual items disappear when you aren't looking. Someone snatched an item, can you guess who took it and what the item was? Trying not to laugh at or look at the person who snatched the item can make this game really interesting. The person who snatched the item will probably look very guilty but kids won't notice that as easily as parents do. Object of gameTo secretly snatch an item from the party table. Number of players4 or more Equipment A table that allows all the players to sit around comfortably. 1 small toy or treat for each player. Set upArrange the items on the party table with plenty of space around each item, try not to let the kids see the items before the start of the game. How to playInvite the kids to take a seat at the table and give them a minute to look over the objects. Pick one child to be the detective. She turns her back to the table and close her eyes. Pick another player by pointing to him and have him quickly and quietly "snatch" one of the toys off the table and hide it in his lap. The player with her back turned, faces the group and tries to determine what is missing from the table and who took it. After a few guesses have the thief show the stolen item and return it to the table. The taker than becomes the detective and turns away and closes his eyes. Play continues until everyone has had a chance to be the thief and the detective. Winning the gameAt the end of the game, put all the toys into a pillowcase and let the children grab one of the items to keep. This way everyone is a winner. VariationsGive the guesser two chances to pick out the toy missing and two chances to pick out the thief. If after the four guesses the thief is not identified, continue playing the snatch preschool game with the same thief taking another toy from the table. This can be fun as the thief might end up with a huge pile of toys in his lap.
