How to playThe first player reaches into the bowl and grabs a handful of candy. To keep the candy she grabbed, the player must guess how many pieces of candy she has in her hand. She can only keep the number of pieces that she guesses. If she grabbed eight pieces but only guess five, she must return the three extra pieces to the bowl. If she guesses an amount over the number of pieces in her hand, she must return all of them to the bowl and wait until everyone else has a turn before getting another chance at Handy Candy. Winning the gameEveryone wins with this game as they get to keep the candy they guess correctly about.Give each child a Ziploc baggie with their name on it so they can take the candy home with them. Variations of the gameFor older children, you can try blindfolding them before they grab a handful of candy. This will make it harder for them to consider how big of a handful to grab.
