Go Boom Card GameGo boom card game is similar to the card game Crazy 8 but without using wild cards.
This card game is face paced and can end with a lot of noise as the child shouts, "Boom" to signify winning the game. ObjectTo be the first player with an empty hand.Number of players2 to 12 playersEquipmentOne standard 52-card deck of playing cards. Two deck if there are 6 or more playing.Set upDeal seven cards to each player, one at a time and face down. The remaining cards are placed in the center of the table.To playThe player to the left of the dealer places one of his cards face up in the middle of the table. The next player places a card similar in rank or suit next to that card. If the player can't follow in rank or suit she must draw from the stockpile, taking one card at a time until a playable card turns up. When the stockpile is gone, players who can't place a card must pass their turn.When everyone has played one card or passed their turn a round is ended. The cards in the center are examined. Whoever played the highest card (aces are high)wins the privilege of leading first in the next round. Winning the gameThe first player to empty his hand gets to yell "Boom," and wins the game. Should a round happen when everyone must pass, the game ends; the player with the fewest remaining cards wins. |
