Coed Baby Shower Games
Coed Baby Shower games allow men to share in the fun of celebrating the coming arrival of their newest family member.
Todays' baby showers aren't just for women. Most modern men are willing to attend their baby's shower as long as it isn't scheduled on the same day as a big sporting event! When planning games for a coed shower, try to aim for gender neutral games and use gender neutral coloring for printed materials and decorations. Offer prizes that can be used by either women or men.
Take It Off GameGive each guest a large paper bag that has holes cut out for their eyes, nose and mouth. The holes don't have to be exact, you can make them oversized. Have each guest place a bag over their head. Once everyone has a bag in place, ask each guest to take off one thing they don't need. Guests will remove shoes, jewelry, and various items before it dawns on them that the bag is not necessary! Whoever takes the bag off first is declared the winner.
This Is Your Life While this isn't really one of the coed baby shower games, it will provide some fun entertainment for all.Gather a dozen or so pictures of the father-to-be and mother-to-be from childhood to present day. Make photocopies of each one so that the picture is near the top of the page with plenty of writing space below the photos. Set the photocopies on a large table or tape to a wall. Ask the guests to write silly captions underneath each photo.
Baby Shower Memory Fun Place a variety of baby items on a tray in the middle of the main gathering area, either on the floor or on a table.
Sometime during the middle of the party, stand over the tray and tell the guests they are going to play a memory game. After you've told them they're playing the memory game, cover the tray.
Hand out pens and paper to each guests and act like you've forgotten something important and ask the parents-to-be to go get the item or handle the situation. (secretly explain to them ahead of time that you'll need them to leave the room for a few minutes for the game to be played.) The guests will be thinking that the items on the tray are what they were suppose to memorize, but what they really need to do is describe what the parents-to-be were wearing. The guest who can list the most correct items, is the winner.
Diaper Sniff Coed Baby Shower Games like this one can be loads of fun! Who can sniff a diaper and correctly guess what it contains? You'll need five full size candy bars, five diapers, pens and paper. Number the diapers from 1 to 5.
Unwrap the candy bars and place one inside each diaper, making sure to note which candy bar is in each of the numbered diapers. Place the diaper into the microwave for 10-20 seconds to melt the chocolate. Lay the diapers on a table and press down on them to make them stick together better! Ask each guest to "sniff" the diapers and guess which candy bar is inside each one. It's always fun to play a prank on one of the men during your coed baby shower games, spread limburger cheese on to one of the diapers! See if any of your friends have extra diapers they no longer need, this will help to hold down the cost.
