Cheat Card Game
"I Doubt It Card Game"

Cheat card game is also known as the BS Card Game and I Doubt It Card Game.

Deception is learned and encouraged in this game, but don't worry it's good training for future poker players.

playing cards

Object

To be the first player to BS and get rid of all his cards.

Number of players

3 or more

Amount Of Cards

A standard 52-card deck. One deck for 3 - 6 players, two decks for 7 or more.

Set up

All the cards are dealt out, one at a time and face down. Some players will end up with more cards than others.

To play

The player to the left of the dealer, places one to four cards of his choice face down in the center of the table and announces he is putting down as many aces as the number of cards.

If he puts down two cards he says, "I'm putting down two aces." The cards may or may not be what he says they are!

The player to his left then places a card or group of cards down, claiming he has twos.

Play continues in a clockwise fashion with each subsequent card or cards being of a higher rank all the way up to kings, at which time the next player starts over with aces again.

At any time a player may call out, "Cheat," signifying a challenge.

( If you think that player is full of BS or you're thinking I doubt It, be sure to yell out "Cheat".)

The card or cards in question are turned face up.

If the challenger was incorrect in calling "Cheat", the challenger has to take all the cards from the pile as well as the cards that were in question.

If the challenger was correct in calling, "Cheat," the cheater has to take all the cards from the pile as well as the ones he just put down.

If one or more players call out a challenge, the one who said it first is the official challenger.

If two players challenge at the exact same time, the one closest to the player's left is the official challenger.

A player is allowed to pass, even if she has one or more of the cards that would be played on that turn.

Winning The Cheat...I Doubt It Card Game

The game ends when a player puts his last card on the table and either is not in doubt by anyone, or everybody feels the player isn't trying to BS anyone, or the player is shown to have told the truth afterall. That player is the winner.
